“Fill in the ____” is about the participating artists’ individual interpretations from experiences that allow each of them to create a sense of ‘filling in’ on certain gaps or spaces that ultimately transform it to place. They aim to question the existence (or absence) of an occurrence through the meanings provided in the aesthetics of city spaces, the world of fandom, domestic routine, war and politics, motherhood and femininity, loss, and consumption through surveillance.

The exhibit, together with Lot’s “Bitmap” and other MFA students  ties together the artistic stylistic syntheses, experiences, and the manipulation of material exploration of different artists from diverse backgrounds. Through introspection, retrospection and interpretation, it means to inspire an outward query about the use of place, and how society condenses the politics of space.
